Saw Captain Amercia the other day. It was awesome. I figured i'd give my "fresh" thoughts on it now. Full offical review to come later on, not to far from now.
Anyways, where to begin? It's awsome. The fighting the smart jokes, the tender simple plot involing a guy who dresses in pajamas. Oh wait that's me at age 4.........so the movie is pretty good. It takes place in WWII so it has that whole AMERICA ROCKS SOCKS feel to it. The actors did a really good job, and they are very likeable in their roles. You see some familiar faces and some new ones, all a pretty to look at cast. Hey remember when Chris Evans was in Not Another Teen Movie?! Classic. I lawl'd. Anyways, its surprizingly a good film, and it has a lot of heart, and it is entertaining. It seems like they took what felt right and added it, and cut out some of the more useless scenes.
It doesn't feel too long, and you usually don't get bored, surprizingly. There is alot of talking, but it reminds me alot of True Grit. The conversation where so witty, you couldn't handle missing what they said. It's all around good fun, and has an atmosphere of summer fun. One of the better movies this summer. SMURFS!!!!
Watch this movie, If you like people getting tossed around and seeing a big blue eyed patriotic guy fight some red head.........did I just make a funny?
Don't watch this movie, If you're into realitic situations, watch the news and enjoy nitpicking at everything wrong with the movie.
So, let reality fly out the window for a while and enjoy Captain America. Full offical review coming soon, this is just my "fresh" take on it. Enjoy and more to come!
